The Dove

These symbols make me lost again
The dove sings to the flamingo,
It sings the songs of love and the long dark nights,
she smiles and the dove can't get over it,
it forgets the difference between pity and love.
The lords of winter just sit back and smile,
waiting to take the flamingo away.

Love is a sea of a fish, the seagull can only dream.
The stars have been witness to this before
yet they don't speak of it, so the dove flies trying to catch up .
time takes my everything away
the smoke leaves its mark, every breath is the last one.
If you just hold on now, i would never let go.
But over these long endless distances you've seen a grief unlike mine.

I can't fly as high as you, the waves are getting higher
my strength is giving in, but i wont.
my heart has given up but my soul is taking another chance.
You say nothing, i hear what is in your head
I'd leave , just turn around , mock my small wings again ,
I'd leave if the silence stretches.
I'd leave, just let me go.

lost in the symbols i see no sign
its just like the first time, the sea now scares me.
Fly maybe all u need is warmth,
i'll turn around and I'd let go.
Maybe all songs aren't meant to be sung
maybe all of the world ain't true.
Singing through my silence i'll find something else.

Smiling for the beauty of peace i'll find another sky.
where the winds won't carry your memories
the dead sea will stare me in nude,
I'll find another sorrow better than mine.
For the last time i'm turning around
the moment is hung.
So hold me if you can or just let me go.

There ain't no diamond found in bulk
I'll gather my pieces and i'll go.
Or let me be held.
I'm holding my spade waiting for time,
It has its sorrowful songs, which look beautiful as he leaves them behind.
The sky is eternity and i look for ecstasy.
